In maths, we have been focusing on our time's tables. In my maths group, we are timesing big numbers so here is a video that can show you how to do that. Enjoy ! :)

  1. Hi,
Mikayla I really like you blog post about the splitting strategy that you have done in maths. I also like how you explained what you were doing in the introduction. Keep up the good work

  2. Hi Mikayla,

I like how you have told us what you have been doing in maths and what you have been focusing on. I like how you have done a screen castify to show your work and your working out.

Next time you could add more of a blurb to maybe show what you have been doing through out the term. Next time you could add some colour.

Why did you choose a screen castify to show your work?

  3. Hi Mikayla,
This is a really good explanation on how to use the splitting strategy. I like how you have told us what you have been focusing on in maths and showing us how to use the splitting strategy, great job. Maybe next time you could add a blurb on what you found challenging and easy in the strategy. Anyways keep up the good work.

Did you enjoy learning about this strategy?

Thank you for sharing your Maths Screencastify to your blog. You've gotten some great feedback and questions from you peers. Make sure you take the time to reply to them.

Your instructions were clear and I can see you have a good understanding of the splitting strategy. I noticed a small multiplication mistake on your first example. You multiplied by 6 instead of 2 ex) your question said 32 but by accident when you split it out you did by 6.

Always be sure to check your calculations to make sure they are correct!

Great DLO and thanks for working so hard in Maths this term.
