Day Of Athletics

Yesterday, we had athletics at our school so basically we the whole school hot together and we did rotations. the little kids went in the morning and the bigger kids went in the afternoon.

Sprints
At sprints the whole school got together and we lined up in our age group. It was my turn and all I heard was a bang and I was off I tied with Tanesha a we are really competitive we tied for first and we went into the finals I got into the finals and I heard the bang again I was gone this time and I came second.

Long jump
Next I had long jump I was really good at this we had practise and I was going so far. Then we were measured I got 2m 60 and I got second.

Then we had a rest and cooled down.

Shot put
For shot put we had one shot and I did good I was coming second and then second place got taken from me by Dominique.

Long distance
I had fun doing long distance we went to the line and we ran four laps I was right behind Tanesha who was coming first every time we went around we got a dot on our hand to tell and once we got our 4th dot we stopped and I never stooped running my laps.

We had another rest.

Discus
For discus I didn't get to practise so I did bad but at least I tried that is all that counts.

High jump
The last one high jump I really liked this because we got to certain height and I was the only one that could make it so I won. I wasn't that high but I really wanted to go higher to see how high I could go.


My favourite event was high jump I had really fun but I landed on the bar a once.

The Heart Full Piano

For this week I have been watching this video called the piano. I have gotten some ideas from the video and write my own story enjoy.

I play this heart full and mindless song for my wife every day, It makes me want to break down in tears.

I started to play my daily song I felt like I was going to cry, as I was playing a ghost of my wife came she looked so beautiful, her hair was in a bun she was wearing a pink sweater and her brown eyes were like crystals. I wish she was still alive she kissed me on the cheek as she disappeared.

Then I was in the war it was exactly the same, I saw my best mate Dave he nodded at me that was a sign to say he's going over, he did it he got shot I took him I haled him until the memory ended.

At this point I wanted to cry, it was just too much.

Extravaganza!

For term 3 we  have been getting ready for our performance. We are focusing on New Zealand Music Month we first picked some NZ songs that we really liked. We put them together and now we had a performance to practise lots. I have picked Sway, I have to dance with a partner doing ballroom dancing. I really enjoyed the two nights we performed it was fun and creative. Here is the song so you can take a look.

For the last two weeks I have been learning about Maori games, we have been looking at resources to help us, such as school journal, websites and books. Me and Lyan were working together. I have a video that will teach you how to do a broomstick, I also have a google drawing that has pictures and instructions on how to make the broom stick, and we have included the history enjoy.

Its time for home

Hi, if you are new to my blogging this is a story about a chimp that went up to space. We watched a video about a chimpanzee going into space. This is going to be my final draft so this will be the last time you see any more space chimp. what I did well was my proof reading and what I need to work on is my punctuation. Basketball

At Hornby Primary school we have a school basket ball team. That will play every Friday I am also in it so last Friday we had a game and we won 30 to 4  so we have some pictures. Enjoy my post.
