Vacation

Thursday 24th of November we had to pick a dream place to go on a holiday and I picked Miami. I had to find flights, accommodation, attractions and restaurants to go to and I had a budget of $17,000.
I also found out interesting facts about Miami, about a sports team and a famous person.
I researched about the flag, currency, population and leader.
I hope that you learn something about Miami. 

Diwali facts

For the past few weeks I have been learning about Diwali. First we had to write down questions about Diwali that we wanted to know,  then we had to find the answers on the internet. Next we did some activates that lead me to now. This week we had to make a DLO about are Diwali to make it we had to do something that is not a slide show to present your work. I picked Powtoon. Powtoon is an app were you can make a animations. It is fun creating it hope you like the facts and questions here is my video enjoy.

Earthquake ALERT!!


Last night 14th of November there was a 7.5 earthquake in New Zealand It started in Hanmer Springs and felt in Kaikoura Wellington and Christchurch It was massive. If you want to get through Kaikoura I will tell you that your not going any where same with  Hanmer Springs because the roads are blocked with rocks and dirt. Here is a picture of the damage to the road.

If an earthquake happens to you follow these steps it will help you survive but if there is no table you do the turtle. Make sure you place your hands on your neck because it is more in portent then your head. Also don't freak out if there is a earthquake stay calm and someone will get you out safely.

Mater chef

Monday the 7th of October Our class did a shared lunch using healthy food our teacher Mr T thought of some ideas for us to make. We were put into our writing groups I'm in the Piranhas and then Mr T write the ideas on pieces of paper and one person from our group picked Isabella picked it and we got. Zucchini Parmesan Chips they were Delicious and then other groups got Hawaiian Chicken kebabs and fruit smoothies also two different salads they were all Delicious and to go along with all that yummy food we added bread. Here are some pictures we took as we were making this. Hope you enjoy my post.

Ingredients ( x2)
  • 3 medium zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Instructions
    1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C

    1. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray

    1. In a bowl, combine the Parmesan, bread crumbs, salt and pepper

    1. Slice zucchini into ¼ inch thick slices and put into a separate bowl

    1. Drizzle the zucchini with olive oil and mix

    1. Dip the zucchini slices into the Parmesan/Breadcrumb mixture to evenly coat each slice

    1. Place the slices in a single layer onto the baking sheet

    1. Bake the zucchini slices for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy

    1. Remove zucchini slices with a spatula
